Following are our positions regarding the use of and interactions you have on the IFS4hh website and forums:
When communicating on the internet, you should always remember that you are communicating with people and as such, be respectful, and avoid insulting, provoking or bullying others.
Respect the opinions of others. This does not mean that you have to agree with them, and if you must criticize, please do so constructively; avoiding a personalization or attack. Criticism must never be personal! Remember, anything you post (visual and/or verbal) could be on the internet forever.
The social interactions that we are enabling via our Home Health Hub (via our Group modules) should be used solely for professional interactions with IFS4hh and your peers. As professional means applicable to the home health industry; this is not a forum for discussions covering politics, religion, or any other potentially inflammatory topics.
Please limit the use of acronyms. It is acceptable to use widely recognized and commonly used acronyms in the home health industry; but otherwise please refrain from using general use acronyms. This is not X , Facebook or Instagram, etc., so please respect the professional environment we are trying to maintain in these forums.
Generally speaking, following the ‘Golden Rule’ when interacting via our forums is a reasonable approach to apply. In other words, threat others as you would want to be treated; assuming you would want others to treat you respectfully.
Failure to comply with these simple guidelines can and will get you suspended from the forums for an indeterminate period of time (depends on the egregiousness of the issue as determined by the site administrators), and a second offense could lead to the cancelation of your membership.
Thank you in advance for your compliance with the Etiquette guidelines identified above.
